OrbitExplorer Removal

Overview:
This is some adware that you really should get rid of. "OrbitExplorer.com is a website search engine catering to a wide varity of groups. The goals of OrbitExplorer.com are to provide the most relevant content to any search. Our content is organized into categories accessible from our front page, and is as well searchable via keywords.

There is an uninstaller at http://orbitexplorer.com/uninstall.html

Destroy Autorun:
Delete the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\orbitupdate
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\orbitview
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\sswplauncher

Reboot your system then:

Make sure you click start --> Run and type in msconfig. Then select the startup tab. Any references to the processes below.

End Processes (may or may not exist):
ad.exe
bobsaver.exe
comet.exe
csinstall.exe
cstray.exe
dmserver.exe
instcore.exe
packageinstaller.exe
oeloader.exe

Unregister DLLs:
These are quite tricky so you'll have to search for where all it put these files and unregister them in whatever locations you find them in.

Remove Directories:
C:\Program Files\comet
C:\Program Files\comet systems
C:\Program Files\common files\oe
C:\Program Files\oe
C:\Program Files\orbit

Clean your Registry:

You should be back to normal IF this was your only problem. I suggest you post in our HJT forum since its not likely that this is your only bug. Read this first
